Provisional Kitchen Garden Open Days 2024.
Last years Kitchen Garden Open Days were a resounding success the following provisional dates for 2024 have been announced subject to volunteer availability.
We were hoping to continue running our ‘Dig For Victory / Home Guard’ theme but due to EH restrictions will will not be able to do this.
Provisional Open Day dates:
Sat 20th / Sun 21st April – Spring Open Weekend
Sun 5th May – General browsing day – Tomato Plant appreciation !
Sat 25th May > Mon 27th May – Dover Castle WW2 Weekend
Sat 8th June – General browsing day
Sat 6th July – General browsing day
Sat 20th / Sun 21st July – General browsing day
Sat 3rd August – General browsing day
Sat 24th / Sun 25th August – Kitchen Garden Produce Weekend
Our next Kitchen Garden Open days…….
Our next Open Day is Sunday 5th May. We will be open from 10 am till 4 pm.
This is a general browsing day where you can explore the Kitchen Garden including Treasurers Tower and the Rampart Walkway with its spectacular views over Dover.
We will have a range of Tomato plants available and a small selection of other plants all on the basis of a ‘suggested donation amount’.
It is free to enter the garden but please remember you will need a valid English Heritage Dover Castle entry ticket unless you hold EH/FODC membership.
